The AEQ-S: A short version of the Achievement Emotions Questionnaire

• We introduce the AEQ-S as short form of Achievement Emotions Questionnaire (AEQ). The comprises 4 items per scale but maintains AEQ's conceptual scope. Two independent datasets (N = 389/471) show psychometric quality AEQ-S. Structural relationships full AEQ scales can be reproduced with is a valuable instrument when administration time or space are limited.
